Synopsis
HAQ – In 1980s India, Shazia Bano takes her husband to court after he abandons her and their children, sparking a national battle over faith, women’s rights, and justice. Inspired by the landmark Supreme court case of Ahmed Khan vs Shah Bano, HAQ is the story of one womans fight for her rights.
